About InternetProviders.ai

InternetProviders.ai is your comprehensive resource for finding and comparing internet service providers across the United States. We help consumers make informed decisions about their home internet service by combining official FCC broadband data with transparent editorial analysis.

Our Mission

We believe everyone deserves access to reliable, affordable internet. Our mission is to simplify the process of finding and comparing internet providers by providing accurate, up-to-date information about pricing, speeds, and availability.

The broadband market is complex. There are more than 2,800 internet service providers in the United States, each with different coverage footprints, speed tiers, and pricing structures. Many consumers face confusing promotional pricing, hidden fees, and vague availability claims. InternetProviders.ai cuts through this complexity by presenting verified data in a clear, actionable format — so you can compare real options for your exact address and make the best choice for your household.

Our History

InternetProviders.ai was founded in 2024 by George Olfson and Pablo Mendoza with a shared conviction that broadband data should be accessible, transparent, and free of provider influence. What started as a small project to map internet availability by ZIP code has grown into a platform covering over 30,000 ZIP codes, 10,000 cities, and 35+ national and regional providers. Today, the site features address-level availability checking, head-to-head provider comparisons, technology-specific guides, and data-driven broadband reports — all built on the FCC's official Broadband Data Collection.

What We Offer

  • Address-Level Availability: Check which providers serve your exact address using FCC BDC data, not just ZIP code estimates

  • Current Deals: Stay updated on the latest promotions, discounts, and new customer offers
  • Expert Guides: Educational content covering everything from choosing a speed tier to understanding fiber vs cable

  • Free Tools: Speed test, provider quiz, and AI assistant to help you find the right plan

Our Data

We source our coverage data from the FCC Broadband Data Collection (BDC), which provides the most comprehensive and accurate information about internet service availability across the United States. Our database contains over 13.1 million address-level records spanning all 50 states, Washington D.C., and U.S. territories.

We combine FCC data with publicly available pricing information collected directly from provider websites. This gives you a complete picture: not just whether a provider serves your area, but what speeds and prices are actually available. Our data is updated quarterly when the FCC releases new BDC filings, and pricing is reviewed monthly.
